• Wipe down the sink after doing the dishes or loading the dishwasher (30 seconds).
• Wipe down the stove top (one minute).
• Wipe down the counters (one minute).
• Sweep, or vacuum the floor (two minutes).
BATHROOM - 2 minutes daily
After washing your hands, wipe it in the paper towel or any small towel that you may use to clean around the edges of the tub and then the toilet before tossing it.
• Wipe the sink and the toilet seat along with the rim (30 seconds).
• Swoosh the toilet bowl with a brush (15 seconds).
• Wipe the mirror and faucet (15 seconds).
• wipe the shower door (30 seconds).
• Spray the entire shower and the curtain liner after every use (15 seconds).
BEDROOM - 6 ½ minutes daily
As soon as you get up, make your bed. A neat bed will immediately make your room look much cleaner. It may not seem as a priority in the morning rush. Think about when you come back home after a long day, and you will have a place to rest without moving unnecessary mess.
• Make the bed (two minutes).
• Fold or put away every piece of clothing and jewelry (four minutes).
• Straighten out the night-table surface (30 seconds).
FAMILY ROOM and living room - 6 minutes daily
Begin with the sofa - as long as it is not clean and empty from stuff left behind, it will never look tidy. Fluff the pillows and fold blankets and you’ll be halfway done.
• Vacuum crumbs and dust (one minute).
• Fluff the cushions and fold blankets after use (two minutes).
• Wipe tabletops and spot-clean cabinets (one minute).
• Straighten all of the magazines and papers that accumulate over the evening. Throw out old newspapers, put away CDs and videos (two minutes.)
When you finish, you will be able to fully enjoy the benefits of clean and relaxing environment you have created.
